Bird nests

During the pandemic, many of us found comfort in nesting—creating a sense of home and refuge. For me, art-making became an escape, allowing creativity to flourish without ever leaving my space.

 

This bird nest photography series features abandoned nests graciously lent or gifted by friends. While not biologically precise, these compositions are designed to be visually captivating and deeply symbolic. Bird nests represent love, commitment, resilience, and the care it takes to build a home. Across cultures, they are also seen as symbols of good luck and new beginnings.

 

Through this collection, I hope to evoke a sense of warmth, tranquility, and connection to nature—a reminder of the simple beauty that surrounds us.
